[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] The Blue House has decided to postpone the 2nd P4G Summit, originally scheduled for June this year, to next year due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Kang Min-seok, spokesperson for the Blue House, said on the 31st, "Considering the domestic and international situation of COVID-19, the government decided at the Cabinet meeting presided over by the President this morning to postpone the 2nd P4G Summit, which was scheduled to be held at the end of June this year, to next year." He added, "We have also consulted in advance with the main invited countries, and the specific date of the event will be decided later after comprehensively considering the stabilization of COVID-19."
Meanwhile, P4G is an international coalition launched with the purpose of accelerating green growth, sustainable development, and the achievement of the Paris Climate Agreement through public-private partnerships. It has 12 member countries including Korea, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Bangladesh.

The 1st P4G Summit was held in October 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark. President Moon announced in September last year at the Climate Action Summit in New York, USA, that the P4G Summit would be held in Korea next year.
