Gyeongbuk Office of Education Announces High School Entrance Exam Schedule ... Science High School Entrance Exam Delayed by One Week
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education announced the schedule for the '2021 Academic Year High School Admission Process' on the 31st.
According to the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, among the early high schools, the Science High Schools will accept applications from August 25 to 27, delayed by one week compared to previous years due to the COVID-19 situation. Meister High Schools and Specialized High Schools' special admissions, as well as Arts and Physical Education High Schools, will accept applications from October 19 to 22 as usual, and Specialized High Schools will accept applications from November 16 to 18.
Late high schools such as Gyeongbuk Foreign Language High School, Autonomous Private High Schools, Non-Standardized General High Schools, and Standardized (Pohang area) General High Schools will also accept applications from December 9 to 11, the same as in previous years.
However, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education explained that all these schedules may change depending on the COVID-19 situation.

Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Gyeongbuk Education, urged, "With about 4,000 fewer middle school students compared to last year, I ask all schools to make every effort to provide meticulous student-tailored career and academic guidance."
