Hyundai Construction to Launch 'Hillstate Dowon Central' in Daegu This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Construction announced on the 30th that it will sell the residential complex "Hillstate Dowon Central" in 3-11 Dowon-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu this month.
Hillstate Dowon Central consists of 5 buildings (including 1 officetel building) with 6 basement floors and 49 above-ground floors, totaling 1,150 units including 894 apartments and 256 residential officetels. From the 1st basement floor to the 2nd floor above ground, a commercial facility within the complex called "Hills Avenue Dowon" with a total floor area of 26,749㎡ will be established.
The apartments range from 84 to 107㎡ in exclusive area, consisting of 534 units of 84㎡, 90 units of 99㎡, and 270 units of 107㎡. The residential officetels have an 84㎡ area, offering space comparable to small apartments.
Hillstate Dowon Central is located in the central area of Jung-gu, Daegu, and will be developed as a landmark complex with the tallest building in the region at 49 floors. It is a station-area complex located right in front of Dalseong Park Station on Subway Line 3. The complex is also well connected by road networks such as Taepyeong-ro, Gukchaebosang-ro, Sincheon-daero, and Sincheon-dong-ro.
Residents can conveniently access Lotte Department Store Daegu Branch, Daegu Department Store Main Branch, Hyundai Department Store Daegu Branch, as well as Daegu Dongsan Hospital, Seomun Market, Lotte Mart, E-Mart, and Homeplus. Cultural and sports facilities for leisure such as CGV, Daegu Opera House, and Daegu Complex Sports Town are also nearby.
Right next to the complex are the 1st Suchang Park and 2nd Suchang Park, and the 128,700㎡ Dalseong Park is adjacent. Next to the complex are cultural and artistic complex spaces such as Suchang Youth Mansion and Daegu Art Factory, allowing residents to enjoy cultural and leisure activities. Suchang Elementary School is located right next to the complex, and a private educational institution, Jongno M School's main branch, will open within the commercial facilities of the complex.
All units are primarily oriented southward to maximize sunlight and ventilation, and a central plaza is placed in the middle of the complex to minimize interference between buildings. On the 3rd floor of the complex, various community facilities will be available, including fitness center, shower rooms, GX room, male and female study rooms, a book cafe (small library), kids & moms cafe, guest house, and coin laundry.
Hyundai Construction's Internet of Things (IoT) technology, Hi-oT, will also be applied. Through a smartphone app, residents can control built-in devices and IoT home appliances such as lighting, gas, heating, and ventilation both inside and outside the complex. To save energy, a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) will be introduced, along with centralized light-off switches, standby power and gas cutoff systems, LED lighting in units and common areas, and an intelligent lighting control system in the underground parking lot (vehicle passage areas).
A Hyundai Construction sales official said, "Not only can residents enjoy all urban living infrastructure, but with Dalseong Park and Suchang Park nearby, they can also experience a pleasant natural environment, which has attracted great interest from local residents," adding, "We will make it a landmark in Jung-gu, Daegu."
