View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Financial Group announced on the 30th that it held an event to support infant and toddler care play packages to overcome the damage caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) at the Group Myeongdong Building in Jung-gu, Seoul, together with the Korea Institute of Child Care Policy and the international relief and development NGO Good Neighbors.
This support was prepared to address the lack of physical activity among infants and toddlers whose outdoor activities are restricted by providing play materials and methods, as childcare facilities such as kindergartens and daycare centers have delayed reopening due to the recent spread of COVID-19, resulting in prolonged childcare at home, enabling healthy living at home.
The donated play packages include clay, play cones, color scarves, tactile balls, stickers, and other items that infants and toddlers can safely use at home with their parents, along with play tip guides and child education materials. They are scheduled to be delivered to about 1,200 households with infants and toddlers in the COVID-19 disaster-affected Daegu area.
