Seoul Reports 24 New COVID-19 Cases, Including 20 from Manmin Central Church and Overseas Entrants

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Due to the group infection at Guro Manmin Central Church and the increase in overseas arrivals, 24 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in the Seoul area.
According to Seoul City on the 30th, as of 10 a.m. that day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul reached 434, an increase of 24 from midnight the previous day.
By residence, 5 new cases were reported in Geumcheon-gu, where members of Manmin Central Church were infected; 4 in Gangnam-gu, which has many international students; 3 each in Gwanak-gu and Dongjak-gu; 2 in Guro-gu; and 1 each in Gwangjin, Dobong, Mapo, Seodaemun, Seocho, and Songpa-gu. There was also 1 Incheon citizen tested in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Among the 9 new patients infected through overseas contact, the United States accounted for the most with 6 cases, followed by the United Kingdom with 3 cases.
