Homeplus Express Expands 'Yogiyo Instant Delivery' to 25 Stores in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

Homeplus Express announced on the 30th that it expanded the 'Yogiyo Immediate Grocery Delivery Service' stores mainly in the metropolitan area on the 26th.
Previously, only customers within a 1.5km radius near four stores?Bongcheon Branch, Singil 3 Branch, Bukgajwa Branch, and Gaebong Branch?could use the service, but now it has increased to 21 stores in the metropolitan area, including Myeongnyun Branch, Bomun Branch, Wangsimni Branch, Seoul Hoegi Branch, Mia Branch, Gireum Branch, Bundang Dongpango Branch, Bundang Jeongja Branch, Samjeon Station Branch, Hakdong Station Branch, Apgujeong Branch, Namseong Branch, Seocho Branch, Daechi Branch, Bucheon Jungdong 2 Branch, Bucheon Sangdong Branch, Bugae Branch, Balsan Branch, Gangseo Branch, Sinjeong 2 Branch, and Mokdong 2 Branch.
This service allows customers to order groceries through the Yogiyo app from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and receive products within one hour. It can be accessed through the convenience store and mart category in the Yogiyo app. The available products range from 400 to 600 items, including fresh foods from Homeplus Express, as well as ready-to-eat meals, processed foods, and daily necessities.
Since the pilot operation in November last year, the number of users of the Yogiyo Immediate Grocery Delivery Service increased by about 60% in February compared to the previous month. During this period, consumers most frequently purchased major daily necessities such as Homeplus's private brand (PB) milk 'Simple Plus Milk,' 'Homeplus Signature Wet Wipes,' and 'Samdasoo' mineral water. Tofu, pork belly, fresh chicken, and cup noodles also sold well, with small-portion meals for the day being the main items.

As mobile shopping has become a daily habit for younger generations and the demand from dual-income households is expected to increase, we decided to expand the service mainly in the metropolitan area where Homeplus Express stores are concentrated."
