[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Charles, Prince of Wales, the first in line to the British throne (71), has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the British daily The Guardian reported on the 25th (local time).
A spokesperson for Clarence House, who handles matters related to Prince Charles, said, "The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) tested positive for COVID-19," adding, "He is not in a serious condition and is showing mild symptoms."
The Duchess of Cornwall also underwent a COVID-19 test and received a negative result.
