View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea rose to 9,137 as of the 25th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 100 compared to the previous day as of midnight. Additional patients in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and Daegu, Gyeongbuk regions were 35 and 19, respectively.
The highest number of patients, 34, were identified during quarantine. This was followed by Gyeonggi (21), Daegu (14), Seoul (13), Gyeongbuk (5), Chungnam (3), Sejong (2), Jeonnam (2), Jeju (2), Busan (1), Incheon (1), Ulsan (1), and Gangwon (1).

The number of patients who were declared recovered and released from isolation increased by 223 from the previous day to 3,730. The death toll rose by 6 during the same period to 126.
