[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) conducted a full inspection of facilities frequently used by many people in enclosed spaces to prevent COVID-19.
Guro-gu completed emergency inspections of 165 PC rooms, 320 karaoke rooms, and 484 private sports facilities located in the area.
The inspection items included whether the business was operating, the status of quarantine measures, and the availability of hand sanitizers.
For operating businesses, guidelines for prevention were provided, including enhanced disinfection, regular ventilation, practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and checking the temperature of customers.
Guro-gu also designated infection control managers for each business and established an emergency contact system with related organizations such as health centers to enable immediate response in case of suspected patients.
Additionally, hand sanitizers were distributed to operating businesses, and a rental service for small disinfection devices available at local community centers was also introduced.
