EMK Donates Musical Tickets Worth 400 Million KRW to COVID-19 Volunteers and Blood Donors
104 Blood Donation Certificates Collected by Employees, Staff, and Audience Donated to the Korean Red Cross
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Musical production company EMK Musical Company announced on the 20th that it will donate 3,000 tickets for the musicals 'Mozart!', 'Sister Act', and 'Monte Cristo', scheduled for the second half of the year, to volunteers and blood donors related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The donated musical tickets are worth approximately 400 million KRW.
EMK Musical Company also added that to help alleviate the national blood supply shortage caused by the spread of COVID-19, it donated 104 blood donation certificates collected from employees, staff, and audience members to the Seoul Eastern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross. As the COVID-19 situation has prolonged, the nationwide blood reserves have sharply decreased, and EMK Musical Company’s employees and staff gathered blood donation certificates.
EMK plans, in consultation with volunteer organizations and the Seoul Eastern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross, to provide 1,500 VIP seats and 1,500 R seats invitation tickets to volunteers working to prevent the spread of COVID-19 across the country and to blood donors participating in blood donation.
