[Asia Economy Reporter Seong Giho] Monday, the start of the week, is forecasted to have morning temperatures below freezing in most regions nationwide.
The expected morning temperature on the 16th is -6 to 3 degrees Celsius, colder than the previous day (-3 to 7 degrees). Daytime temperatures will be 7 to 13 degrees Celsius (average 10 to 14 degrees).
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Morning temperatures in the central inland and some southern inland areas will drop below -5 degrees Celsius, and temperatures will gradually rise from daytime as warm southwesterly winds blow."
Heavy snowfall is forecasted from the night of the 15th to the morning of the 16th in Gangwon Yeongdong and northern Gyeongbuk. Some areas may experience gusty winds and thunder and lightning.

Expected snowfall amounts are 5 to 20 cm in Gangwon Yeongdong, 2 to 7 cm in northern Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, 1 to 5 cm in Gangwon Yeongseo, and 1 cm in southern Gyeongbuk east coast and Jeju Island mountain areas.
