Jinju City Requests Daegu to Prosecute COVID-19 Self-Quarantine Violators

The jurisdiction for this confirmed case has also been transferred to Daegu City.
The woman, who was the 85th confirmed case in Gyeongnam Province on the 11th, is a Shincheonji Jesus Church trainee registered in Daegu. She was designated as a self-quarantined individual by the Buk-gu Public Health Center in Daegu and had been under self-quarantine since the 27th of last month.
However, on the 8th of this month, before her self-quarantine period ended, she moved from Daegu to her family home in Jinju and on the 11th tested positive at the Buk-gu Public Health Center in Daegu.
After the woman arrived at her family home in Jinju, the city disinfected and temporarily closed the Daiso Jinju Dodong Branch and GS25 Jinju Sangpyeong Branch, which she visited on the 10th. Additionally, two store employees were placed under self-quarantine, and monitoring of other contacts has begun.

Jinju City also sent an official letter to the Buk-gu Office in Daegu, stating that the woman's visit to Jinju during self-quarantine was a clear violation of self-quarantine regulations and requesting Daegu City to take legal action against her.
