Hyundai ENG Opens Model House for Suwon Knowledge Industry Center 'Hyundai Terra Tower Yeongtong'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Engineering announced on the 11th that it will open the model house for 'Hyundai Terra Tower Yeongtong' knowledge industry center on the 13th and begin full-scale sales.
Located at 15, Sinwon-ro 250beon-gil, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province, this complex consists of three buildings with a total floor area of approximately 96,946㎡, ranging from two basement floors to 15 above-ground floors. It includes a knowledge industry center, dormitory, and commercial facilities.
The Yeongtong area where Hyundai Terra Tower Yeongtong is located is home to Samsung Digital City and its partner companies, facilitating easy interaction and short travel times between companies. With 34,000 employees working within Samsung Digital City, there is abundant demand in the surrounding area. It is also close to Samsung Electronics' Giheung and Hwaseong campuses, as well as the Suwon general industrial complex.
Yeongtong Station on the Bundang Line subway is nearby, making public transportation convenient, and the Indeogwon-Dongtan double-track railway Woncheon Station is scheduled to open in 2026. Access to the Yongin-Seoul Expressway, Gyeongbu Expressway, and Yeongdong Expressway is also convenient.
The Hyundai Terra Tower Yeongtong knowledge industry center is composed of three product types: 'Live Office Type,' 'Business Type,' and 'Drive-in Type.' The Live Office Type, located from the 4th to the 15th floor above ground, is a specialized product for small businesses and offers attic spaces to allow for both work and relaxation. The Business Type applies a high ceiling height (5.1 to 5.4 meters) to create a comfortable workspace with high spatial efficiency. Meanwhile, the lower floors (from two basement floors to the 5th floor above ground) will feature the Drive-in Type with a door-to-door system to enable efficient logistics movement.
Another notable feature is the ample parking space, with about 211% of the legally required parking capacity secured. The 4th floor within the complex will also include rest areas such as a rooftop garden and a fitness room.
The dormitory, constructed as a separate building, will be supplied with a total of 310 rooms from the 4th to the 15th floor above ground. Of these, 298 rooms are small units under 24㎡ in exclusive area, offered in two types: standard and attic.
From the 2nd basement floor to the 1st floor above ground, the commercial facility 'Brooklyn 381' will be established. Designed with an exterior environment that recreates the look of Brooklyn, New York, it will be developed as a commercial facility with an urban regeneration concept. Plans are underway to introduce a factory-style caf? and a kids caf? where families can relax together. According to the design plan, the floors are divided into Basement 2 (G floor), Basement 1 (L floor), and 1st floor above ground, but due to the difference in elevation when viewed from Sinwon-ro, the L floor appears as the 1st floor, and the 1st floor above ground appears as the 2nd floor.
