Nanomedics Selected as a Top 10 Advanced Material Technology Company by Standard Graphene
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Nanomedics announced on the 10th that Standard Graphene has been selected as one of the ‘2020 Asia Pacific TOP 10 Advanced Materials Tech Companies (Manufacturing Technology Insights TOP 10 Advanced Materials Tech Companies in APAC-2020)’ by the US technology magazine Manufacturing Technology Insights.
This is the first time a domestic graphene company has been selected. Manufacturing Technology Insights introduced graphene as ‘the most beneficial material among revolutionary and useful advanced materials that enable humanity’s technological progress’ and stated that Standard Graphene was chosen because it possesses technology to mass-produce high-quality graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide superior to competitors.
Manufacturing Technology Insights is a US media outlet that has covered various innovative technologies in 44 categories including global production technology industry, advanced materials, 3D printing, aerospace manufacturing industry, defense industry, and IoT for the past 12 years, and is recognized as an authoritative professional magazine in the manufacturing technology field.
Every year, it selects the TOP 10 companies in each category. In 2019, global companies such as Honeywell, Ametek, and Epicor were selected. This year, companies that play an important role in popularizing advanced materials and combine excellent technology and product quality were selected, including Standard Graphene, global chemical company Thomas Swan, US-based machine tool manufacturer SCM Group, and Lotte Chemical.
A company official stated, “Manufacturing Technology Insights highly evaluated not only the mass production technology of high-quality graphene but also Standard Graphene’s independently developed water treatment dedicated material ‘Super Graphite.’ They pointed out that the ability to supply graphene materials in various specifications according to customer requests is a strength of Standard Graphene.”
