"Public Mask Sales Information Released Starting Tonight... Check via Mobile Phone"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seolgina Jo] The government will release public mask sales data starting at 7 PM on the 10th. Citizens will be able to check mask sales information via mobile phones or PCs.
The Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the same day that they will begin providing public mask sales data in cooperation with the National Information Society Agency and the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service.
The government will open the confirmed public mask sales data, finalized through discussions with startup and developer communities, from 7 PM on the 10th. The Information Society Agency will reprocess the received data by combining it with pharmacy addresses and provide it via Naver Cloud using an OpenAPI method.
Additionally, to ensure stable provision of public mask sales data and smooth operation of private mask sales information web and application services, four cloud companies?KT, Koscom, NHN, and NBP?have been providing infrastructure free of charge for two months starting from the 5th.
The government expects that by utilizing the open data, private developers such as portals like Naver and Kakao, startups, and developer communities will be able to rapidly develop various web and app services.
