Kyojikwon Gongjehoe, Lee Jin-seok Appointed as Member Business Director
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Ji-hwan] Lee Jin-seok, former Chair of the Ministry of Education's Teacher Appeal Review Committee, has been appointed as a member of the board of directors for member affairs at The-K Hanguk Gyosigwon Gongjehoe. His term is for three years, until March 9, 2023.
Director Lee Jin-seok was born in 1962 and graduated from Chonnam National University with a degree in English Education. He earned a master's degree in Comparative International Education from Nagoya University and completed doctoral coursework in Lifelong Education at Soongsil University. He entered public service through the 33rd Administrative Examination and has served as Secretary General at Chungbuk National University, Deputy Superintendent at Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and Sejong City Office of Education, and Director of Higher Education Policy at the Ministry of Education.

Due to the vacancy in the position of Chairperson of the Gyosigwon Gongjehoe, Director Lee will concurrently serve as Acting Chairperson in accordance with the association's articles of incorporation and organizational regulations.
