Timon Donates Raised Funds for Masks to Low-Income Children
Emergency Social Donation Fundraising for 3 Days from the 6th to 8th... Total Amount Raised 16.62 Million Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) announced on the 10th that it will deliver masks worth 16.62 million KRW raised through social donations for the 'Emergency Mask Support for Low-Income Sponsored Children' to 200 low-income children's households.
TMON recently partnered with the international relief and development NGO Hope Friends Korea Food for the Hungry International to support masks, which have become difficult to purchase due to soaring prices amid shortages, to vulnerable low-income children. An emergency fundraising campaign was held for three days starting from the 6th. A total of 2,734 people participated, raising 16.62 million KRW. 100% of the raised funds will be fully transferred to the Korea Food for the Hungry International headquarters and used to support mask distribution. The masks are expected to be delivered to about 200 children's households, and detailed information can be found on the social donation page to be held in April.
Social donation is a social contribution activity that TMON has continued for 10 years since its founding in 2010. It has established itself as a transparent donation program that delivers 100% of the raised funds to beneficiary families without deducting fees or operating expenses. Meanwhile, TMON is also issuing coupons offering special discounts for deliveries to Daegu from the 10th to the 31st of this month.
