Kyobo Securities Donates 100 Million Won to Overcome COVID-19... Joins 'Good Rent' Initiative
[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Boryeong] Kyobo Securities donated 100 million KRW to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Kyobo Securities announced on the 10th that it had delivered 100 million KRW in donations to the National Disaster Relief Association to overcome COVID-19 and share the pain.
This donation was voluntarily collected by executives and employees. The funds will be used to support supplies for preventing the spread of COVID-19 and for damage recovery.
In addition, to help prevent infections among vulnerable groups, the company carried out the 'Dream Sharing Production' social contribution activity. Executives and employees made about 700 hand sanitizers and delivered them to 10 child welfare organizations, including Joeun Jip Childcare Center, Seongrowon Baby House, and Yosep Angel's House.
Kyobo Securities also participated in the 'Good Rent' campaign. They will reduce the rent and management fees of the underground shopping mall at their Yeouido headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul by 30% for three months. The support targets include pharmacies, tea houses, restaurants, bookstores, and others.
