Line, Hiring New Developers... All Recruitment Processes 'Non-Face-to-Face'
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] LINE announced on the 10th that it will conduct recruitment for new developers. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), all selection processes will be conducted in a non-face-to-face (untact) manner.
According to LINE, the application period is from the 10th until 5 PM on the 30th. All stages from application to interview will be 100% online using untact methods.
The recruiting corporations and fields include three corporations: LINE Plus, LINE Biz Plus, and LINE Financial Plus, with recruitment in ▲Server ▲Client ▲Cloud/Big Data (limited to LINE Plus). Applicants must select one corporation and one field when applying, and the recruitment targets those expected to graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree by August 2020, or those who have graduated with less than two years of experience.
The recruitment process proceeds in the order of submitting basic information via application form - online coding test - detailed application form and document screening for those who pass the online coding test - first video interview - final video interview.

Additionally, during this recruitment period, LINE will sequentially release videos introducing the recruitment process, job roles, various welfare benefits, and life after joining, presented by actual LINE employees, on the official LINE Plus recruitment YouTube and Facebook channels, as well as JobKorea TV starting from the 12th. To ensure applicants' safety, instead of crowded offline recruitment briefings, various applicant questions including those about document screening will be addressed through JobKorea TV in mid-April.
