Since establishing a sisterhood relationship in 1998 as a symbol of East-West harmony, Sinan-gun and Gyeongsan-si have taken the lead in regional development and improving residents' convenience through various exchange activities such as civil servant club exchanges, mutual exchange of specialty products, and sales events.
Recently, two doctors were dispatched to Gyeongsan-si, which is experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19, and support has been sent to help Gyeongsan-si overcome COVID-19, including 2,100 packets of black garlic extract and 200 packs of seasoned seaweed, which are specialty products.
Park Woo-ryang, the governor of Sinan-gun, said, "After seeing media reports that there are difficulties in securing protective suits (Level D) due to the expansion of COVID-19, we hope that by selecting the necessary protective suits for medical staff before patient treatment, it will help to quickly eradicate the COVID-19 situation that Gyeongsan-si is experiencing."
