LabGenomics Registers as Supplier for UN Procurement Agency... Diversifying Overseas Sales Channels
COVID-19, MERS, and Other Diagnostic Kits Registration Completed
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] LabGenomics, a molecular diagnostic healthcare specialist company, announced on the 9th that it has completed registration as a supplier with a UN procurement agency.
The supplier level registered by LabGenomics is Level 1, and once diagnostic products developed are registered, international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Labour Organization (ILO) can purchase them through search.
The diagnostic products registered by the company include kits for infectious diseases that primarily occur in areas with poor sanitary conditions, such as dengue fever, malaria, typhoid fever, tuberculosis, HPV, MERS, and Zika virus. The registered products also include the newly developed diagnostic kit for COVID-19.

A LabGenomics official stated, “Since the World Health Organization (WHO) has activated the Emergency Use Listing for diagnostic devices related to COVID-19, there is a high possibility of use by international organizations,” adding, “However, as the international procurement market is also conducted through competitive bidding, it remains to be seen how actual orders will proceed.”
