KakaoPay Fully Supports Merchant Fees to Overcome COVID-19
Provided Equally to All Offline Payment Merchants
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Kakao Pay announced on the 9th that it will support payment fees to help offline merchants overcome the damage caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Kakao Pay plans to fully cover the fees on amounts paid with 'Kakao Pay Money' at offline payment merchants from the 11th until the end of June. This support will be provided equally to all offline payment merchants regardless of affiliated brands, industries, or store sales scale.
Additionally, the promotion that rewards users when they pay with Kakao Pay Money at offline stores will be maintained to contribute to attracting customers and increasing sales for merchants.
