According to Daegu City on the 8th, patient A, a 67-year-old female Shincheonji Church member, caused a disturbance while being transferred to the Kyungpook National University Living Treatment Center and was transported to Daegu Medical Center.
During the transfer to the hospital room, Ms. A grabbed the head of a nurse wearing protective clothing and fled. Although police were present at the scene, they could not respond because Ms. A was a confirmed patient and was not wearing protective clothing.
Police officers wearing protective clothing apprehended Ms. A near Daegu Medical Center around 9:20 p.m., and she was reportedly re-admitted to a hospital room there.
