This public official, who belongs to the city hall's Permit Division, had symptoms similar to COVID-19 infection and had been in self-quarantine since the 3rd, and was confirmed positive on the 7th.
Gyeongsan City placed 9 employees from the same division, who may have had prior contact with the infected official, under self-quarantine. Disinfection and quarantine work were also completed in the relevant office.
Since all employees in the division where the infected official worked have entered self-quarantine, public officials from other departments will cover their duties.
