'Stove League' Actor Hong Gi-jun Caught Drunk Driving... License Revocation Level
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Actor Hong Ki-jun (42), who appeared in the recently concluded SBS drama 'Stove League,' was caught by the police on charges of drunk driving.
Seoul Songpa Police Station announced on the 8th that Hong was booked without detention on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).
Hong is suspected of drinking and driving near Machun Intersection in Songpa-gu, Seoul, at around 11:20 p.m. the previous day.
He was caught by the police after falling asleep in his car while waiting at a traffic signal, and his blood alcohol concentration was confirmed to be at the license cancellation level.
The police completed the investigation at the local police station and sent Hong home, and plan to investigate the detailed circumstances of the drunk driving later.

Hong's agency, Saram Entertainment, released a statement saying, "Hong Ki-jun is currently deeply reflecting," and added, "(Hong Ki-jun) returned home early in the morning and is waiting for the investigation, and will cooperate sincerely."
