One More COVID-19 Case Confirmed on the 8th in Ogar-ri, Goesan
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] On the 8th, one additional confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was reported in Ogari, Jangyeon-myeon, Goesan-gun, Chungbuk. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in this village to 10.
The Goesan County Health Center announced that Yoon (58), a resident of Ogari, tested positive following a specimen test. The day before, Yoon's husband, Yoo (64), was also confirmed positive.
Since Kim (83) was first confirmed positive on the 4th in this village, a total of 10 confirmed cases have occurred. However, this is the first time that family members have been confirmed positive in this village.
Among the 42 people, including Ogari residents and employees of Jangyeon Post Office and Jangyeon Hanaro Mart, who were requested for specimen testing for a full survey of Ogari residents by Goesan County the day before, 41 people except Yoon were confirmed negative.
