Jae-yoon Ma, Head of Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, Conducts On-site Inspection of Infection Control Room at Haenam Fire Station
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Ma Jaeyoon, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, inspected the infection control room at Haenam Fire Station to check the preparedness against COVID-19.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 6th, the infection control room is a facility equipped with cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization equipment aimed at preventing secondary infections of paramedics and ambulance users who may be exposed during the transport and treatment of emergency patients.
There are 40 such facilities established in fire stations and 119 safety centers across the province.
This inspection was conducted to ensure on-site safety management, including checking the disinfection status of consumables used by paramedics who have a high possibility of contact with COVID-19 infected patients.
Ma Jaeyoon, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, toured the infection control room, reviewed the COVID-19 related disinfection guidelines, and instructed thorough operation and management of the infection control room.
He also took time to encourage the staff who are working hard on the front lines for the safety of the residents.
