Changwon City’s Video Message to Citizens: "Cheer Up, Uri"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City announced on the 6th that it has produced a support video to comfort citizens who are going through difficult times due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Since the first confirmed case occurred on the 22nd of last month in Changwon, the tough battle to overcome COVID-19 has continued. Medical staff at health centers and hospitals are struggling 24 hours a day due to manpower shortages, and Hanmaeum Changwon Hospital is under cohort isolation as even medical staff have been infected. Local small business owners have been hit hard by the contraction of the domestic economy.
Amid these circumstances, donations of hygiene products and funds, as well as the 'Good Landlord Movement' which offers rent reductions, have continued. The city produced the "Cheer Up, Our City" video to spread this positive atmosphere. The video will be released on Changwon City's official YouTube channel.
