'Corona Alimi' Korea University Students Develop 'Mask Alimi' This Time
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Amid the mask shortage caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), a website that provides mask stock information has been launched, attracting attention.
The site allows users to check the availability of masks at convenience stores near them between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. According to the site, the stock status is updated every 10 minutes based on information received from the delivery app 'Yogiyo.'
The website was created by student developers from Korea University who previously made a site called 'Corona Alimi' that displayed the locations of confirmed cases and clinics based on the user's location.
The four students who collaborated again this time are Kim Juntae (23) from the Media Department, Choi Juwon (23) from the Industrial Information Design Department, Park Jihwan (24) from the Psychology Department, and Lee Inwoo (28) from the Chinese Language and Literature Department, all at Korea University. They are alumni of the programming education club 'Like a Cool Lion.' Lee Doohee, the head of 'Like a Cool Lion,' provided data technology consulting.
