Changes in Spray Location and Nozzle Specifications of Road Watering Vehicles Deployed for COVID-19 Disinfection... Conducting Thorough Disinfection in Residential Areas and Alleys to Alleviate Residents' Anxiety
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is gaining attention for carrying out COVID-19 disinfection work using road water spraying vehicles.
The district proactively responded to prevent community infection due to the spread of COVID-19 by modifying the spray positions and nozzle specifications of two 3.5-ton water spraying vehicles and deploying them for COVID-19 disinfection activities.
They are conducting focused disinfection at multi-use facilities such as bus stops, subway station entrances, and traditional markets, as well as mobile disinfection in residential areas and alleyways.
By overcoming the limitations of previous disinfection activities concentrated on multi-use facilities, the mobility of the vehicles allows disinfection to be carried out in every corner of alleyways, greatly helping to alleviate residents' anxiety.
The disinfection work is divided into two teams and carried out from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., with alleyway disinfection planned to be flexibly conducted during early morning hours to prevent direct contact of disinfectants with humans.
