At this meeting, with the COVID-19 crisis alert level raised to "serious," the current status of Yeongam County's COVID-19 response to block community spread was reviewed. About 20 people, including council members and heads of major departments from Yeongam County Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, attended to discuss countermeasures.
After receiving a report on the COVID-19 response progress from the Director of the Safety and Construction Department, the council members proposed proactive preventive measures targeting multi-use facilities, consideration of operating fever screening stations, inspection of childcare centers and local children's centers' care services, review of installing personal disinfectant devices, market monitoring of mask supply prices, and public distribution plans for masks, urging to do their best in prevention activities.
