Kim Hak-gyun Lawyer Recommended as Chairman of KOSDAQ Market Committee at the Exchange
Experts Experienced with Bank of Korea and Financial Services Commission
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The Korea Exchange KOSDAQ Market Committee has selected Lawyer Hakgyun Kim of the law firm Hwahyun as the candidate for chairman.
The Exchange announced on the morning of the 4th that it held the 3rd KOSDAQ Market Committee meeting and recommended Lawyer Kim as the chairman candidate.
Candidate Kim graduated from Seoul National University College of Law in 1986 and worked at the Bank of Korea for 10 years. He then graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in the United States in 2001.
Afterwards, he worked for eight years at a law firm in Washington DC from 2006, and served as a standing commissioner of the Financial Services Commission from 2014 to 2017. He currently serves as a member of the Korea Exchange KOSDAQ Market Listing Committee, a member of the Financial Supervisory Service Sanctions Review Committee, and an advisor at the law firm Hwahyun.
