Earlier, on the 3rd, at the Jeonnam Sports Council Hall, during a business meeting with related organizations of the Jeonnam Sports Festival, it was decided to temporarily postpone the event and reconsider the schedule in early next month as a preemptive measure against the possibility of nationwide spread, following the upgrade of the infectious disease crisis alert level from 'Warning' to 'Serious.'
A county official stated, "Due to the impact of the spread of COVID-19, the local economy is shrinking, and the country is in a state of national disaster. We will do our utmost to protect the health and safety of the residents by adhering to COVID-19 response guidelines."
