GS Construction Daegu 'Cheongra Hills Xi' First Priority Subscription Closes with a Record 433 to 1 Ratio

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] GS Construction's "Cheongna Hills Xi," unveiled in the area of 2478 Namsan 4-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, has closed first-priority subscriptions for all housing types with a highest competition rate of 433.27 to 1.
According to the Korea Real Estate Board's subscription homepage on the 4th, the first-priority subscription for Cheongna Hills Xi was received the previous day, with 55,710 applicants for 394 units (excluding special supply), recording an average competition rate of 141.40 to 1.
By housing type, the 101㎡ (exclusive area) attracted 9,532 applicants for 22 units, making it the most popular with a competition rate of 433.27 to 1. The 84㎡A also recorded a fierce competition rate of 201.67 to 1. Following were ▲84㎡C at 118.02 to 1 ▲84㎡B at 110.00 to 1.
Lim Jongseung, head of sales at GS Construction, said, "Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, citizens of Daegu showed great interest," adding, "We will repay with Cheongna Hills Xi as a landmark apartment representing Daegu based on the know-how and technology we have accumulated."
The announcement of winners will be held on the 10th, and the official contract will take place over three days from the 23rd to the 25th. The deposit is 10%, and 60% of the intermediate payment is on a deferred interest basis. The resale restriction period is six months from the announcement date of winners.
Cheongna Hills Xi consists of 13 buildings ranging from three basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 947 units sized between 59 and 101㎡. Cheongna Hill Station, a transfer station for Daegu Subway Lines 2 and 3, is within a five-minute walk. Access to Dalgubeol-daero, Daegu’s main arterial road, is also convenient. Large shopping facilities such as Hyundai Department Store, Dong-A Department Store, and Seomun Market are nearby, along with schools including Namsan Elementary, Gyesung Elementary, Gyesung Middle, Gyeonggu Middle, Seongmyeong Girls’ Middle, and Gyeongbuk Girls’ High School.

Meanwhile, GS Construction plans not to open the model house near Duryu Station after the announcement of winners to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the region. They are consulting with the relevant licensing authorities on accepting document submissions and contracts for winners through non-face-to-face methods such as phone consultations and mail.
