Busan 'COVID-19' 50th Confirmed Patient Discharged ... First Recovery Case

Busan City announced on the 2nd that patient number 50 (36-year-old female from Buk-gu) has been declared recovered and will be discharged today.
An Byeongseon, Director of the Health Policy Division of Busan City, explained, "Patient number 50 had only mild symptoms such as a sore throat at the time of confirmation. After hospitalization, the symptoms quickly improved, and tests on the 28th and 29th both came back negative, so discharge was decided today." He added, "Since there have been cases of relapse even after a COVID-19 recovery diagnosis, we will monitor the recovered patient's condition through active surveillance going forward."
The city explained that most confirmed patients, except for elderly patients, are maintaining stable health conditions.

Meanwhile, on the 2nd, three additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Busan, bringing the total to 79. Among them, 43 are hospitalized at Busan Medical Center, 23 at Pusan National University Hospital, 4 at Busan Paik Hospital, 4 at Haeundae Paik Hospital, and 2 at Kosin University Hospital, while 3 are awaiting hospitalization.
