[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] As the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is rapidly increasing nationwide, a confirmed case has also emerged in the courts.
According to the Supreme Court Administration Office on the 2nd, a social service worker A (23), working at the Andong branch of Daegu District Court, was notified of a positive test result on the afternoon of the 29th of last month. This is the first confirmed case among court employees. It is reported that no confirmed cases have yet been found among judges or other court staff.
Accordingly, the Andong branch immediately conducted disinfection of the courthouse on the day the positive result was confirmed and placed three close contacts under self-quarantine. On the 1st and 2nd, tests were conducted for all employees.
