Korea GM Holds '2020 New Start with Chevrolet' Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Korea GM announced on the 2nd that it celebrates and supports customers starting new chapters in their lives through the ‘2020 New Start, Together with Chevrolet!’ event.
The ‘2020 New Start, Together with Chevrolet!’ event runs for one month until the 31st, aligned with seven new start themes: admission, employment, independence, marriage, childbirth, entrepreneurship, and obtaining a new driver’s license. Any domestic customer aged 21 or older can participate by visiting the official Chevrolet website or any Chevrolet showroom nationwide.
Participants can access the event page on the Chevrolet website, select their new start theme, and choose one of six Chevrolet models, including the recently released Trailblazer, as their companion vehicle for the new start, then watch the product video. Customers visiting showrooms can scan a hidden QR code in the showroom to access the event page and follow the same procedure to enter.
Chevrolet will select about 7,000 participants by lottery to award generous prizes worth approximately 100 million KRW. Winners will be announced every Wednesday on the Chevrolet website during the event period.
First prize (8 winners) includes a 4-night, 5-day Chevrolet test drive pass and a gold bar; second prize (16 winners) is a gold bar; third prize (40 winners) is a department store mobile gift certificate worth 100,000 KRW. Additionally, 2,020 winners of the 2020 commemorative lucky prize will receive a coffee mobile gifticon.

Chevrolet also prepared a special bonus event for the ‘2020 New Start, Together with Chevrolet!’ event. Among customers who participate and actually purchase a vehicle during the event period, 50 will be selected by lottery to receive department store gift certificates worth 1 million KRW. Furthermore, the first 5,000 customers who visit showrooms and enter the event will receive convenience store mobile gift certificates.
