Ssangyong Motor Offers Free Hand Sanitizers to Showroom Visitors... 'Respect Korea'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Ssangyong Motor announced on the 2nd that it will support customers with the longest warranty extension in its class in March and special benefits, implementing the ‘Respect Korea’ program to give customers confidence to visit showrooms with peace of mind.
Ssangyong Motor conducted disinfection and sterilization at over 300 showrooms nationwide, creating COVID-19 safe zones so that customers can visit with confidence. Antibacterial fogging disinfection service for vehicles is provided upon showroom visits, and hand sanitizers are given free of charge.
When purchasing the G4 Rexton, Korando, or Tivoli, the longest domestic warranty period of 10 years or 100,000 km is offered. Additionally, the Respect Gift Package, consisting of a black box and premium tinting, is provided free of charge (with an option for up to 1 million KRW discount).
Customers who consult in advance via phone or online receive a preferential discount of 1.5% on all models (1.0% for Rexton Sports & Khan), which, combined with the government’s individual consumption tax reduction benefit (3.5%, excluding Rexton Sports & Khan), results in full support of the individual consumption tax.
The ‘Super Change’ program supports customers who purchase a G4 Rexton after early scrapping of an old vehicle with 1.5 million KRW, reducing the burden of vehicle replacement. Customers owning vehicles older than 7 years can enjoy a special discount of 500,000 KRW (not combinable).
When purchasing any model, customers can enjoy low interest rates of zero down payment 0.9~5.9% (36~120 months) or long-term installment benefits (0.9% installment excludes Rexton Sports & Khan). Customers choosing 3.9% installment purchase receive ▲500,000 KRW (600,000 KRW for G4 Rexton) for 60 or 72 months usage ▲and an iNavi black box (with an option for 100,000 KRW discount) for 36 or 48 months usage.
A new Respect Special installment plan, which significantly reduces the initial burden for Rexton Sports & Khan buyers, is now available. It can be used at 3.9% for 48 to 60 months, with the first 6 months requiring a 10,000 KRW monthly interest-free payment, followed by installment payments of principal and interest for the remaining period.
To welcome the new spring, a New Start program is offered for Korando and Tivoli buyers. Customers taking their exciting first steps, such as young professionals, newlyweds, new students, and new business owners, receive a special discount of 100,000 KRW.
Customers or business owners owning cargo vehicles under 1.5 tons who purchase Rexton Sports & Khan receive a 200,000 KRW discount, and a loyalty program offers up to an additional 700,000 KRW discount depending on the number of repurchases of Ssangyong models.
