This donation was prepared with 500 million KRW donated by KCC, along with 400 million KRW and 100 million KRW from Honorary Chairman Sangyoung Jeong and Chairman Mongjin Jeong of KCC, respectively, from their personal funds.
This reflects the management's determination that companies should also contribute to overcoming the national crisis caused by the rapid spread of COVID-19. The donation was made to the Community Chest of Korea on the 28th of last month.
The funds will be used to purchase medical supplies such as protective suits and masks for medical support volunteers and quarantine personnel nationwide, focusing on the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas designated as special management zones. There are also plans to support daily necessities for vulnerable groups such as orphanages, nursing homes, and those under self-quarantine.
