The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency (Chief Choi Gwanho) announced on the 29th that they have notified the health authorities of the confirmed members and are currently focusing their available investigative personnel on identifying the whereabouts of the remaining 118 unconfirmed individuals.
They are verifying locations by directly calling the individuals subject to location confirmation requests, visiting their residences in person, or tracking their real-time mobile phone locations.
Among the unconfirmed Shincheonji trainees in the Gwangju area, the police plan to actively identify the whereabouts of a total of 388 people, including 270 individuals who were subject to a second location confirmation request due to lack of contact with health authorities, by mobilizing all available personnel today and will notify the health authorities accordingly.
