CJ Donates 1 Billion KRW to Overcome COVID-19 Impact
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] CJ Group is donating 1 billion KRW to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 27th, CJ announced that it donated 1 billion KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association to be used for medical relief activities and damage recovery due to the spread of COVID-19.
Separately, CJ CheilJedang delivered 15,000 ready-to-eat meals such as Hetbahn Cupbap to medical staff, quarantined patients, and vulnerable groups in Daegu City and Gyeongsangbuk-do, and CJ Olive Young provided 10,000 masks and antibacterial wet wipes for hygiene enhancement, as well as vitamin drinks.
CJ Logistics also decided to provide free personal parcel delivery services to residents in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas for one month starting from the 1st of next month.
