LG Hausys Launches 'Semi-Noncombustible Sheet' Wall Material with Enhanced Fire Safety
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] LG Hausys announced on the 27th that it has launched the wall covering material 'LG Z:IN (LG Jiin) Semi-Noncombustible Sheet,' which enhances fire safety in commercial spaces.
The 'LG Z:IN Semi-Noncombustible Sheet' is a wallpaper-type wall covering product that, unlike general wallpapers using paper, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), etc., in the base layer, applies semi-noncombustible materials.
By applying semi-noncombustible materials, the product does not easily spread fire when ignited and emits fewer harmful substances during a fire. Recently, it received a semi-noncombustible performance certification from the Korea Fire Institute (KFI).
Accordingly, LG Hausys plans to supply the 'LG Z:IN Semi-Noncombustible Sheet' to commercial spaces, including multi-use facilities where the installation of noncombustible or semi-noncombustible interior finishing materials is mandatory, such as postpartum care centers, goshiwons, rest food establishments, and game rooms.
Additionally, the 'LG Z:IN Semi-Noncombustible Sheet' has excellent durability, resisting scratches or tears from external contact, making it suitable for commercial spaces used by many people.
