Prosecutors Conduct Search and Seizure at KB Securities, Daishin Securities, and Woori Bank in Lime Scandal
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The prosecution investigating the Lime Asset Management redemption suspension incident conducted raids on related securities firms and banks.
The Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Jo Sang-won) reportedly sent prosecutors and investigators to Daishin Securities and Woori Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, as well as KB Securities headquarters in Yeouido, from around 10 a.m. on the 27th to secure computer files and ledgers.
The prosecution also conducted raids on Lime Asset Management and Shinhan Financial Investment headquarters on the 19th.

Earlier, investors who suffered losses from the Lime Asset Management redemption suspension incident filed complaints against Lime Asset Management officials and securities firm officials who sold the company's products on charges including violations of the Capital Markets Act.
