[Asia Economy Reporter Won Dara] STX Heavy Industries announced on the 26th that it will suspend production of TURBO CHARGER and related parts at its Daegu plant from the 26th to the 28th as a quarantine measure. Production is scheduled to resume on the 2nd of next month.

The company stated, "As a proactive measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, production may resume before March 2nd if necessary," adding, "The actual production suspension will last for 3 business days, so there will be no impact on delivery schedules." They also added, "Decisions on additional suspensions will be made if symptomatic or confirmed cases occur in the future."
