Daegu Police Deploy 600 Investigative and Criminal Personnel to Track Missing Shincheonji Members
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seung-jin] Daegu police have launched a search to track down Shincheonji Daegu Church members whose whereabouts are unknown in connection with the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 23rd that it is mobilizing about 600 personnel in the criminal investigation and inquiry departments to find Shincheonji members who cannot be contacted.
According to Daegu City, out of 9,336 Shincheonji Daegu Church members currently undergoing a full survey, 670 cannot be reached.

The police plan to verify the whereabouts of Shincheonji members by visiting their residences or making phone calls so that health authorities can confirm whether they are infected.
