Guro-gu Cancels First Half Civil Defense Training to Prevent COVID-19
For Team Members with 1 to 4 Years of Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Sung) has canceled the first half of the year Civil Defense Basic Training schedule to prevent COVID-19.
Guro-gu announced on the 13th, "Originally, the first half basic training was scheduled 37 times from the 24th of this month to April 23rd, but it was decided not to conduct it to prevent the infection."
Accordingly, Civil Defense members in their 1st to 4th year who were scheduled for training in the first half of this year must attend the supplementary training starting in September.
The emergency assembly cyber training, which will be conducted for the first time this year for members with 5 or more years of service, will proceed as planned from May.
Guro-gu plans to reissue training notices according to the supplementary training schedule in the second half of the year. Training participants can check the schedule through the training notice or the National Disaster Safety Portal (www.safekorea.go.kr) and attend training in their local area or other regions.
