Environmental Corporation Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Headquarters and Tongyeong City Agreement... Completion Scheduled for March 2022
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Son Tae-seok] The Korea Environment Corporation Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters signed a consignment agreement with Tongyeong City and commenced the installation project of the Tongyeong·Goseong Metropolitan Resource Recovery Facility and auxiliary facilities.
With an investment of 64.7 billion KRW, this project, scheduled to be completed in March 2022, will enable stable and eco-friendly processing of household and food waste within the region.
Through this project, a metropolitan incineration facility (130 tons/day) for household waste generated in Tongyeong City and Goseong County, as well as comprehensive facilities including Tongyeong City's existing food waste (40 tons/day), sewage sludge (25 tons/day), and recycling sorting facility (30 tons/day) will be established.
