Suncheon City Implements 'Illegal Loan Business Card Advertisement Collection Reward Program'
Protecting Citizens' Economy and Creating Jobs through Illegal Loan Business Card Advertisement Cleanup
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Suncheon City in Jeonnam announced on the 11th that it will implement the "Illegal Loan Business Card Advertisement Collection Reward System" starting in March to create a clean street environment by removing illegal advertisements that spoil the cityscape and cause inconvenience to residents' passage.
The applicants are low-income groups, unemployed youth, and people with disabilities living in Haeryong-myeon and 11 neighborhoods (excluding Dosa-dong and Jeojeon-dong) within the jurisdiction. Citizens who wish to participate can submit an application form to the administrative welfare center of their residence.
Two participants will be selected from each region, and each person will be paid up to 200,000 KRW (20,000 cards) per month for the collected advertisements.
A Suncheon City official stated, "We plan to actively guide and crack down on illegal loan business card advertisements to protect household finances by preventing damage to ordinary citizens and creating jobs for vulnerable groups, and to establish a proper loan culture."
