View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] YouTuber Jin Yong-jin has become a hot topic after appearing in the real-time popular search terms.
On the 10th, Jin Yong-jin uploaded a video titled "People Who Make Money with Accounts" on his YouTube channel. In the video, he traced the reasons for trading accounts through an interview with a representative from a blog purchasing company.
Jin Yong-jin explained the reason for account trading, saying, "If you need information, you search on Naver. Blog posts or cafe posts that appear here are mainly read, and accounts are bought and sold for such promotions."
He added, "Once a promotional post is written, the company can pay money, and IDs are bought and sold among operators who write such posts."
The company representative said about the trading prices, "For IDs, the minimum starts from 1.5 million won. Among operators, it is traded at 4 to 5 million won," and added, "Depending on the keyword, it can range from 60,000 won to a maximum of 1.5 million won."
He said, "Since the price varies depending on the exposure of the ID, quality tests are also conducted."
Regarding the legal issues of account trading, a lawyer who appeared on the broadcast stated, "In cases like the Medical Service Act, promotion is prohibited."
He further explained, "If the account owner is hacked or unaware of the account usage, it can be problematic. However, if they simply agreed to use it for advertising purposes, there is no legal basis for sanctions."
Following this, Jin Yong-jin requested, "To film the next video, please search for 'JinyongjinLegendIWillGo' to find out how many people need to search on Naver to reach number one in real-time search."
As subscribers continued searching after watching the video posted on the 10th, the search term rose to the top ranks of real-time search on the morning of the 11th.
Meanwhile, Jin Yong-jin is a YouTuber who started his activities on December 2, 2014, and currently has 1.4 million subscribers. He gained popularity by uploading self-composed songs and videos related to pets.
