Korea Railroad Postpones Written Exam for New Employee Recruitment... Prioritizing Novel Coronavirus and Applicants
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) is postponing the written exam schedule for new employee recruitment in the first half of this year. This measure is taken to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) and to consider the health of the test takers.
KORAIL announced on the 10th that the written exam, originally scheduled for March 21, will be postponed to April 25. With the postponement of the written exam, the interview schedule has also been delayed from mid-April to June 1?4.
However, the online application submission, document verification schedule, and appointment plan (end of June) will proceed as originally planned.
Accordingly, the application period will be from the 7th to the 10th of this month, the announcement of successful candidates from document verification will be on the 20th of this month, and the appointment date will remain at the end of June. KORAIL explained that if there are any changes in government directives or situations related to the novel coronavirus in the future, the schedule will be adjusted again.
